2026 HYP Co-Ed Winter Basketball

Important Announcement!

We are no longer accepting new teams at this time. You are welcome to sign up with an existing team or register as a free agent. Thank you for your participation!

Registration opens on November 3rd and ends on November 28th!
Late Registration is on November 29th & November 30th – a $15 late registration fee will be added to your registration.

THE COST TO PLAY:

  • $85.00 per player (Non-Member of HYP)
  • $60.00 per player (Member of HYP)

*HYP members receive $25 off registration*

GAMEPLAY:

Each team can have an unlimited number of team members but must have a minimum of (8) registered players on a team to be considered a team.  Players may not be added to a team after registration closes for any reason. If a player is having difficulty registering online, they must contact sports@hyp.org before registration closes to join a team by 11:59 P.M. on November 30th to be considered. We are able to accept 10 teams per league.

  • Maximum of (5) players on the court. (3 Males and 2 Females)
  • At least (2) Females always need to be on the court.
  • Teams must have a minimum of 8 players on a team (Free-Agents may be added to ANY team)

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

  • 7 regular-season games
      • Sunday, January 4th – February 15th
      • Tuesday, January 6th – February 17th
  • Game times on Tuesdays will be at 6:00 P.M., 6:50 P.M., 7:40 P.M., 8:30 P.M., and 9:20 P.M.
  • Sunday League game times will be at 9:00 AM, 9:50 AM, 10:40 AM, 11:30 AM, and 12:10 PM
  • Every team will be combined into one division for both leagues. The top 8 teams will participate in Single Elimination Playoffs, while the bottom two teams will play in a Bowl Game
      • Tuesday, February 24th and March 3rd
      • Sunday, February 22nd and March 1st
      • These dates are subject to change depending on snow dates/cancellations
  • Shirts with numbers for your whole team (CLICK HERE to view color options – Style TT11)
  • Division Champion Trophy for Playoffs
  • 2 referees per court
  • Courts for play at the East Shore YMCA
  • Season Kickoff Social with the Captain’s Meeting – JB Lovedraft’s MicroPub, Tuesday, December 30th, starting at 6:00 pm.

WAYS TO REGISTER:

  • Free Agent: Don’t have a team? This is perfect for you. Let us find you a team. Meet new friends and start building a team for next season.
  • Team Captain: Sign yourself up, create a team name, and start recruiting your players to sign up.  Captains are responsible for communicating important league information to the other players.
  • Player: Sign up for your friend’s team!
