Networking – the professional relationship building action we love, but sometimes hate doing. There is an art to building a valuable network that can help you throughout your career. With social platforms, like LinkedIn, Facebook, and even Bumble Biz, building your network has never been easier. Even with all these tools at our disposal, what does networking really mean and how do we do it?
Rubina Azizdin was asking those same questions. Through her experience in career services in high education, and now as the Director of Director of STEM UP Network at Harrisburg University, Azizdin had to master purposeful networking. During our March Professional Development workshop, Azizdin will talk about her journey in networking, what it takes to build a meaningful network, and how to build self-confidence to really shine while you network.
