Outreach is looking for volunteers to assist with our Junior Sports initiative with kids from 1st-4th grade at Sylvan Heights Charter School. We will be meeting Mondays 5-6:30PM from October 2nd-November 20th. Our first 4 weeks we will be at Reservoir Park with our older kids, with our last 4 weeks being at Sylvan Heights.
The goal is to teach kids about health/wellness through sports and fitness as well as sportsmanship between peers.

Join us for the 4th Annual HYP 5 Miler for 5 Charities! The five mile course travels along the scenic Susquehanna river on the Greenbelt before returning to the finish line on City Island. In addition to the 5 Miler Race, we have a 5K Walk option and we are bringing back the Kids Fun Run! The Kids Fun Run will be a 1/4 mile and all registrations will be “day of”. There will be no entry fee but donations are welcome.

Pre-registered 5 Mile and 5k Race Participants will receive long sleeve shirts. Day-of registered 5 Mile and 5k Race Participants are not guaranteed long sleeve shirts, only if extras are available.
The Kids Fun Run, for children 12 and under, will start around 8:30AM. “Day of” registration for this race only. The race will be 1/4 mile. No entry free for this event but donations are strongly welcomed.
The 5K Walk and Kids Fun Run will not be chip timed.
