Come on out for a relaxing 3-mile walk around gorgeous Memorial Lake! This is a great opportunity to socialize and enjoy nature. This is an easy walk made up of flat trails through the woods and some paved surfaces. Minimal elevation gain.

Memorial Lake is a State Park that consists of 230 acres and sits near the base of Blue Mountain providing many beautiful panoramic views of the lake and mountains.

Meet at Green Way Outdoors Boat Rental stand where you see the kayaks at 10am. The walk starts at 10:10am. The large lot that is located on Middle Rd. (Off Boundry Rd.) is the closest parking lot. Text Amy at 717-585-3312 if you would like to be texted a pin of the meeting spot.

Dogs are welcome but must be friendly and leashed at all times.

Wear weather-appropriate clothing, sneakers, and plenty of water/snacks. Sunscreen is recommended.

Due to COVID-19, there will be no carpooling. Please bring a mask to wear at any point during the walk where social distancing would not be possible. Do not attend if you have any symptoms of COVID-19, been in contact with, or live with someone who has or is being tested for COVID-19.

Feeling the virtual fatigue? Come join your #HYP pals on a hike at the Boyd Big Tree Preserve Conservation Area on April 11th at 11-1:30PM. Reconnect with friends while hiking along a 5-mile loop through the woods. Enjoy breathtaking views of large trees and deep forest birds, such as warblers, as the loop sits along Blue Mountain, reaching an elevation gain of about 800 feet.
Weather-appropriate clothing, hiking boots, water, and snacks are strongly recommended, while bug spray and sunscreen are encouraged. Masks are required.
