HYP’s 2017 Professional Development series is pleased to have Michael Wilson from Member’s First and the Vineyard and Brewery at Hershey and Amma Johnson from Amma Jo LLC. to go over business dress the do’s and the do not’s.

 

Being a successful business person comes with often having to wear many hats, and one can only imagine the different hats and situations that comes with being the Vice President of Relationship Management during the day then a partner at one of the region’s most popular vineyards, as well as a designer and an entrepreneur.

 

Different meetings often occur, some inside the office, on the golf course, over drinks, at a quick lunch, the list is really endless. But the questions that is asked each and every time, is what is appropriate to wear? Michael and Amma are going to go over best practices of dress and etiquette tips that they has picked up over the years. There will be models on hand for both men and women’s business dress to be able to show actual examples of best practices.

 

To volunteer to be a model for the event please email marketing@hyp.org by July 5th. Only one prior meeting will be needed before this event.

 

The Professional Development Series, provided by HYP, is designed to provide content to you, our members, on topics ranging from building a resume to personal brand on social media.

 

This is a member’s only event, and an RSVP is required to attend as seating is very limited. We will be at the Hill Society room at the Hilton, when walking into the front lobby it is off to the left. Please RSVP to marketing@hyp.org by July 17th if attending.

Karen is the award winning founder and president of HR Resolutions, which is a full service human resources and personal management company. Her company has been around the Harrisburg area since 2005 to help companies improve work place atmospheres.  With over 25 years of experience Karen brings her wealth of knowledge as a human resources professional to many companies through out Central PA and is going to tell you some of the tips and tools she has picked up through out the years.

Located at the Hilton Harrisburg, Young Professionals (HYP members) will have the opportunity to meet and connect with top Professionals from the Harrisburg Area who value mentorship, personal growth and skill enhancement. Defined by the concept of 6 degrees of separation, this experience will allow you to seek positive development through community and collaboration.
