Join the HYParents group during the opening weekend of The Snow Queen, presented by The Popcorn Hat Players. The Snow Queen is a powerful story of a young girl’s quest, Gerda must search the world over to rescue her best friend, Kay, who has been captured and spirited away by the reputedly wicked and powerful Snow Queen. Along the way she meets a bizarre and colorful array of characters who direct her in her journey ever farther and farther North. Adapted from the original by Hans Christian Anderson, this is a Popcorn Hat show that is an epic journey and a true picture of love and devotion.

Join HYParents for its first event of 2017 at the Curiosity Connection in The State Museum. The Curiosity Center is a hands-on environment for imaginative children ages around 1-5 years old. Space is limited, RSVP early. Free Street Parking on Sundays. HYParents discounted Museum admission fee is $4 per person.

Join the HYParents on Friday October 14th at the State Museum from 5:30-7:30 for “Night of the Great Pumpkin”. Admission is free and kids can treat or treat around the museum! Come celebrate the night of the great pumpkin with crafts, a pumpkin filled planetarium show, and other season activities. If interested, please contact parents@hyp.org to RSVP.
Join HYParents for its first official event! Starting at 6:00pm in front of the Hilton Harrisburg, we will stroll the streets of downtown to see how many dinosaurs we can find. The event is from 6-7:30pm. Bring comfortable shoes, sunblock and water. Parents and kids of all ages are welcome.

Join HYParent for a fun lunch with Superheros on Saturday, May 28 at 12-2pm at Ad Lib/Hilton Patio at 1 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101. This event is part of Harrisburg’s Superhero weekend where we join together to honor and celebrate our local heroes and those in the community making a difference.
Come for lunch and enjoy time with your favorite masked superhero. Children will have the opportunity to get their pictures taken with the likes of Superman, Batman, Spiderman and more at 1pm. Meet up and join other HYP families and parents for this fun event.
