Let’s go for an after-work walk along the beautiful Italian Lake and the Capital Area Greenbelt! This is a great opportunity to socialize and unwind. Meet at the north entrance of Italian Lake on Edward St. at 6pm. (Where Susquehanna St. meets Edward St.) The walk will begin at 6:10pm. Our walk will be about 4 miles total. This is an easy paved trail. We will turn around when we hit Reily St. and head back the way we came. We will end our walk at Italian lake where we started.

Dogs are welcome but must be friendly and leashed at all times. Sneakers and water are recommended. Parking can be found on Edward St. and surrounding residential streets.

Let’s go for a walk after work! Come out and meet new friends while getting some exercise in nature. Wildwood Park is conveniently located on the outskirts of Harrisburg. This public park is a haven for countless species of flora and fauna natural to our area, some endangered. The main park address will NOT take you to our meeting spot. Meet in front of the Benjamin Olewine III Nature Center (southeast corner of the park/Lower lot) at 6 pm. We will begin our walk promptly at 6:10 pm.

The walk around the lake will be about 3 miles. The terrain is a paved path, mostly flat with minimal elevation change. It’s recommended that you bring water and wear sneakers.

Let's go for a hike! This MODERATE hike will be about 6.5 miles long, out and back style. It will begin on the Appalachian Trail, initially passing through several flat farm fields and then up the mountain into the woods with about 650 feet of elevation gain. We will then turn onto the White Rocks trail which involves hiking through interesting large rock formations and optional rock scrambling on top of the ridge.

Meet in front of the Boiling Springs Iron Furnace located at 109 Bucher Hill Rd. Boiling Springs, PA 17007 at 10am. We will begin the hike at 10:10am. Text Amy if running late or if you can’t find us. The closest parking is the Iron Furnance lot at the southeast end of Children’s Lake. If that is full there are numerous other parking options such as the Children’s Lake parking lot, along Mountain Rd. by the Gristmill, or in the unmarked lot next to the railroad tracks off Mountain Rd (next to Yellow Breeches Creek).

Come on out for a relaxing 3-mile walk around gorgeous Memorial Lake! This is a great opportunity to socialize and enjoy nature. This is an easy walk made up of flat trails through the woods and some paved surfaces. Minimal elevation gain.

Memorial Lake is a State Park that consists of 230 acres and sits near the base of Blue Mountain providing many beautiful panoramic views of the lake and mountains.

Meet at Green Way Outdoors Boat Rental stand where you see the kayaks at 10am. The walk starts at 10:10am. The large lot that is located on Middle Rd. (Off Boundry Rd.) is the closest parking lot. Text Amy at 717-585-3312 if you would like to be texted a pin of the meeting spot.

Let’s go for a Saturday morning walk along the Susquehanna River! This is a great opportunity to meet new people. Meet at the Peace Garden in Harrisburg City where Front St. meets Woodbine St. at the Peace Garden sign at 10am. The walk starts at 10:10am. Our walk will be about 3.5 miles total on the Capital Area Greenbelt. This is an easy paved trail. We will turn around near the Walnut Street pedestrian bridge and head back the way we came. We will end our walk at the Peace Garden where we started.

Dogs are welcome but must be friendly and leashed at all times. Sneakers and water are recommended.
