This is a live interview event that showcases the stories of the people who have founded the local companies we all love, like Gary Huether Jr.’s Arooga’s. Meet Gary Huether Jr.
Gary is Baltimore-born, but Central Pennsylvania raised, growing up in Mechanicsburg and graduating from Trinity High School in Camp Hill, Pa. Ever ambitious, Gary attended college while working full time for Snap-On Tools, and quickly transitioned into the role of a franchise owner, eventually owning several franchises by the young age of 21. He was 25 when he was presented with an opportunity to take over ownership of a local bar in Harrisburg where he rediscovered his passion for restaurants, and he hasn’t looked back since. Come hear the full story and be a part of the How It’s Built in the ‘Burg experience.

Meet John Dame
John operated a standalone AM radio station in the 1970s, and over the next 21 years, his family and grew their business into a 23-station chain. In 1998 Dame Media was sold to Clear Channel Communications for $85M. John founded Dame Gallagher Networks in 1999 to syndicate national talk radio host, Mike Gallagher, out of New York City. Now, he owns and operates Dame Management Strategies, and consults worldwide with CEOs and their executive teams.
