DESCRIPTION:The HYP Running Club is a friendly\, supportive community within Harrisburg Young Professionals for anyone interested in social running. Novice runners training for their first 5K and experienced marathoners alike are welcome and encouraged to join us on our casual group runs. Members interested in running races receive a discounted registration rate at many popular Harrisburg area events. The HYP Running Club meets on the first and third Saturday of the month for runs\, jogs\, and walks. \n\nGroup meets every first and third Saturday at 9:00 am on City Island in front of the Senators FNB stadium for a walk\, hike or run ranging from 1.5 – 3 miles – meetings subject to change per weather/season. DESCRIPTION:This month the HYP Book Club is returning to the space with ‘The Moon is a Harsh Mistress’ from the legendary Sci-Fi writer Robert A. Heinlein (‘Starship Troopers’\, ‘Stranger in a Strange Land’). It is a tale of revolution\, of the rebellion of a former penal colony on the Moon against its masters on the Earth. It is a tale of a culture whose family structures are based on the presence of two men for every woman\, leading to novel forms of marriage and family.
