Fort Hunter is a great place to Park & Ride on your way out of Harrisburg City!  \nThis week we have an easy hike on the top of Peters Mountain! This out-and-back trail will lead us to a vista overlooking the valley. DESCRIPTION:This month the HYP Book Club is taking a look at a piece of American history that’s not often discussed with ‘Assata: An Autobiography’ by Assata Shakur. In 1977 Assata Shakur was convicted\, based on flimsy evidence\, as an accomplice to the murder of a white state trooper. This intensely personal and political autobiography belies the fearsome image of her long projected by the media and the state.
