DESCRIPTION:Join us on January 31st for Harrisburg Young Professionals’ 26th Annual Meeting and Awards Night at the Strawberry Square. We’re delighted to have the opportunity to celebrate the year that was and the year that will be with a special message from this year’s president\, Iqbal Singh and guest speaker Corrie Lingenfelter. \n“Chef Corrie” is not your typical chef; she’s a culinary genius with a heart as generous as her flavors are exquisite. As a mastermind in the kitchen and the Executive Director of Downtown Daily Bread\, Chef Corrie blends her passion for fine cuisine with a commitment to serving the community. \nCorrie\, a professionally trained chef\, began her culinary journey at The Omni Bedford Spring Resort & Spa. Her professional trajectory includes noteworthy engagements with elite resorts and renowned celebrities. Throughout her career\, Chef Corrie has taken her culinary expertise a step further\, venturing into the creation and management of non- profit kitchens\, pantries\, and programs. Her mission is to foster food accessibility and diversity in low-income communities through these initiatives. \nAdditionally\, in her role as the Executive Director at Downtown Daily Bread (DDB)\, she’s a philanthropist on a mission to create a world where no one goes hungry\, and every meal is a celebration of compassion. DDB is dedicated to providing essential services for the unsheltered and hungry in the local community of Harrisburg\, Pa. \nLight appetizers and refreshments will be provided prior to the program and awards. The event is open to members and non-members. While there is no cost to attend\, we welcome donations to HYP to help fund our events\, programming and further our mission. SUMMARY:First Friday Social: Harrisburg Beach Club
DESCRIPTION:Bundle up and join Harrisburg Young Professionals for our First Friday Social at Harrisburg Beach Club on February 2nd from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. The fires will be blazing and igloos reserved for a warm retreat. You’ll also get to try out of the Beach Club’s curling lanes! You can check out the Beach Club’s upcoming Curling League here. \nLimited parking is available by the Beach Club. Consider parking for free in the main lot by the Senators Stadium and walking down. It will make a warm beverage even more satisfying! \nCome out and have the opportunity to meet with fellow HYP Members and build new relationships with those who Live\, Work\, and Play in Harrisburg.  \nWe look forward to meeting with all of you!
