SUMMARY:November HYP Book Club
DESCRIPTION:For our November book club\, our next read will cross through Halloween\, so in the spirit\, we’re reading Lovecraft Country by Matt Ruff. It’s about an African-American man living in 1950s Jim Crow-era America\, looking for his missing father. And also trying to escape otherworldly creatures. It’s a sci-fi/horror crossover\, and promises to be a really provocative genre mashup. And it’s also a series on HBO\, so for those who have seen\, we can discuss the tv series as well. \n\nThe book club will meet via Zoom\, which you will be send a link to when you register. Send your RSVP by November 7 to participate. Please RSVP and/or send questions to Joe Foner at joefoner1@gmail.com.
