All lunch bunch attendees will gather to casually meet and socialize. DESCRIPTION:What’s an Arts Happy Hour you ask?! It’s a casual meet-up\, for folks who are interested in the arts & international scene in Harrisburg. DESCRIPTION:The CEO Roundtable Series is a special program series for HYP members only\, which features CEOs from the Harrisburg region who will speak about their professional journey\, lessons learned\, struggles and successes\, and provide insight to young professionals hoping to make their personal career path a success. \nThe third CEO Roundtable of 2017 will feature Bradley Jones\, CEO Harristown Enterprises. \nThe event will be held on Friday\, April 21st at 7:30am at the Hilton Harrisburg and is for members only. \nAN RSVP IS REQUIRED\nPlatinum Sponsor: \n \nGold Sponsor:\n \nSilver Sponsor:\n  \nAbout Brad: \nBrad Jones\, 52\, has been with Harristown Enterprises Inc. for about 15 years.  He started as the company’s corporate director for public and community services before becoming vice president for community development. The organization owns and manages about 2 million square feet of real estate in downtown Harrisburg.  Prior to Harristown\, he worked in economic development and project management roles for Congress\, the American Petroleum Institute\, the state Department of Agriculture and the Pennsylvania Hardwoods Development Council.  He earned his bachelor’s degree in forest science from Penn State.  He is a past president of Harrisburg Young Professionals and the Capital Region Economic Development Corp.\, or CREDC.\nCurrently\, Jones is vice chairman of the board at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology and chairman of the Modern Transit Partnership. He also is co-chairman of Harrisburg 2020\, an ad hoc committee of the Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC\, and member of the Urban Land Institute Philadelphia Central PA Council.  Jones is married with three children. He lives in Camp Hill.

DESCRIPTION:Represent HYP in the Great Harrisburg Litter Cleanup! \nOn Earth Day\, April 22\, hundreds of your neighbors will be on the streets with bags and gloves making Harrisburg a cleaner place to live\, work\, and play. In past years\, volunteers for this Clean and Green Harrisburg event removed over 600 tires\, 3\,000 pounds of e-waste\, and 16 tons of trash from our city in a single day! With your help\, this community event can be an even greater success. \nTo join the HYP team\, please RSVP at beautification@hyp.org so we know the size of our crew. In late March we will register our group with Clean and Green and get a work location. We will post and share the place to meet up as soon as we know it. \nDon’t forget to wear your HYP gear!
