DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun hike to the Hawk Rock overlook while meeting other HYP\nmembers. Hawk Rock is a 1.9 mile out and back hike to the overlook running\nthrough the Appalachian Trail. The hike is a moderately challenging hike with\nabout 750 ft of elevation gain. Once at the top\, you will be rewarded with a\nspectacular view of the Susquehanna River and the surrounding valleys. This\nhike will also be perfect to view the fall foliage at its peak.\nFeel free to bring some snacks/sandwich to eat while at the top and make sure\nto bring plenty of water. With that\, they have asked for 15 of us to come and help fill boxes. The time frame is still 9 AM to 12 PM but depending on how many boxes they provide us to fill\, we may be done earlier. \nThe boxes that are being packed are care packages that the PA Food Bank delivers to families in need all over Central PA.
