Utilizing TIC principles when interacting with others helps to create a more supportive and inclusive environment. This training will equip you with the knowledge and skills to understand and integrate TIC principles into your personal and professional relationships.\n\nHaley Baumgarten\, MS\, MT-BC\, is a board-certified music therapist and the Lead Therapist at Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute. With a robust academic background\, Haley earned her Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy and Psychology from East Carolina University and her Master of Science in Music Therapy from Molloy College.\nOver the past 6 years\, Haley has specialized in working within psychiatric settings\, where she utilizes music therapy to support and enhance the mental health and well-being of her clients. Her extensive experience also includes working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities\, providing a well-rounded perspective on diverse therapeutic needs.\n\nIn her current role\, Haley plays a key part in the Trauma Informed Care Education Team at Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute\, where she is involved in developing and implementing trauma-informed practices and training programs. Her work is dedicated to integrating trauma-informed principles into therapeutic settings to improve care and outcomes for individuals affected by trauma. Haley is passionate about the intersection of music therapy and trauma-informed care\, and she is committed to advancing both through her practice and education. DESCRIPTION:At last the HYP Book Clue can conclude the story they began in October of 2021 with the long-delayed release of ‘My Favorite Thing is Monsters Vol. 2’ by Emil Ferris. Set against the tumultuous political backdrop of late ’60s Chicago this graphic novel is presented as the diary of 10-year-old Karen Reyes as she tries to solve the murder of her beloved and enigmatic upstairs neighbor\, Anka Silverberg\, a holocaust survivor\, while the interconnected stories of those around her unfold. All presented in Ferris’s inimitable style that breathtakingly and seamlessly combines panel-to-panel storytelling and cartoon montages filled with B-movie horror and pulp monster mag iconography. It is recommended that participants also read Vol. 1 in order to fully understand the story of Vol. 2 but also because it is simply fantastic. In addition to his formal education\, he is a graduate of the Credit Union Executive Society (CUES) CEO Institute Program and has earned executive certificates from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business\, the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and Cornell University’s Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management. Wilson is also a graduate of the Leadership Harrisburg\, Cumberland\, Lancaster and Lebanon programs. Wilson joined Members 1st in July 2016 as Vice President of Relationship Management and has held a number of leadership roles within the credit union\, including his previous role as Chief Experience Officer. He has been an integral part of the credit union’s growth to nearly 60 branches and almost 600\,000 members. Wilson is a lifelong advocate of the tenets of servant leadership and has served on countless boards and committees in the credit union industry and throughout the community\, including CrossState Credit Union Foundation\, Harrisburg Regional Chamber and Capital Region Economic Development Corporation (CREDC). With a passion for people and entrepreneurial thinking\, he has been recognized for his professional accomplishments with numerous business awards. DESCRIPTION:The HYP Running Club is a friendly\, supportive community within Harrisburg Young Professionals for anyone interested in social running. Novice runners training for their first 5K and experienced marathoners alike are welcome and encouraged to join us on our casual group runs. Members interested in running races receive a discounted registration rate at many popular Harrisburg area events. The HYP Running Club meets on the first and third Saturday of the month for runs\, jogs\, and walks. \n\nGroup meets every first and third Saturday at 9:00 am on City Island in front of the Senators FNB stadium for a walk\, hike or run ranging from 1.5 – 3 miles – meetings subject to change per weather/season.
