DESCRIPTION:Join HYP for the Second Wednesday Social at Bacco Pizzeria and Wine Bar in Downtown Harrisburg on Wednesday\, May 11\, 2016 from 5:30PM to 7:30PM.  HYP will be joining forces with Harrisburg’s own—Sara Bozich—to support “Bras Across the Bridge\,” in late August of 2016. \nBYOB for FYB is a series created by the Feel your Boobies Foundation to benefit “Bras Across the Bridge.” Guests are encouraged to bring in old bras for donation. The bras will be strung together and marched across the bridge in a chain held by corporate and individual fundraising teams and later stringed across the Walnut Street bridge in Harrisburg. \nFUN FACT:  Leigh Hurst\, Founder of Feel Your Boobies\, launched her campaign with HYP way back in 2004 (here’s a nice little time capsule for you).

DESCRIPTION:Join HYP for the 18th Annual Home Tour on Saturday\, May 21 in Harrisburg! The 2016 Home Tour will feature the Shipoke neighborhood.\nShipoke is in many ways the oldest section of the city\, settled by Europeans in 1710 as a small trading post. It was here that the Harris Ferry and Tavern was originally located\, which is the origin of the name Harrisburg. After years of rehabilitation\, Shipoke now is a picturesque\, affluent neighborhood known for its beautiful river views. A number of festivals are held annually in Riverfront Park along the river near Shipoke.\nJoin us to tour beautiful homes while experiencing all that city life has to offer. During the tour\, attendees will enjoy refreshments from local restaurants as well as a peek into the beauty of this neighborhood.\nProceeds of the Annual Home Tour benefit the HYP Home in the City Program. The Home in the City program provides $1\,000 grants to qualified HYP members purchasing a home in the city of Harrisburg. Through 2015\, HYP has granted $47\,000 to HYP members through Home in the City. For more information on Home in the City\, click here.\n  \n\n\n\nTour ticket sales are available online! \nThank you to our Sponsors!\n\n\n  \n \n  \nRegistration Information: \nHi Folks!\nAre you ready for the big day?  We have been looking forward to this event all year and cannot believe that it is this weekend!  To assist you\, we thought it would be good to give you some information beforehand about the Home Tour.\nEvent Registration: Opens at 12:00 pm\nGuests who have bought tickets and need to buy tickets can begin checking in at Noon on Saturday\, May 21st.  The check -in location will be along South Front Street in River Front Park near Passage to India.  Please print off your ticket to show to the registration volunteer\, as well a your ID.  Guests should stop here first to pick up their guidebooks and wristbands.  ID’s will be checked before receiving your wristband.\nTour Time: 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm\nAfter guests check in\, they are welcome to tour the neighborhood at their leisure and explore all the area has to offer.  In the middle of your guide there will be a map that lists all the homes and businesses that are featured on the tour.  Each home will have complimentary food and drinks.  Take time to meet the homeowner and socialize with other guests.  While in the home we ask that guest do not take photos\, smoke\, or wear high heels.  Please also pace yourself with your food and drinks.  Some of the homes this year will be showcasing beer from local breweries!  Bathrooms in the homes are not open to public use\, however a portable toilet is available for use near registration.\nAfter Party: 4:00pm – 7:00 pm\nAs we finish up the tour\, everyone is invited to stop by the Civic Club of Harrisburg for BBQ dinner\, drinks\, socializing\, and more!  Guests are encouraged to use River Front Park & the Greenbelt to walk up to the Civic Club after they are done touring.  We will have the infamous Sarah B playing music\, and guests are welcome to play yard games in River Front Park next to the Civic Club.\nWhat to Bring:\nIDs\, walking shoes\, rain gear (hopefully you wont need it!)\, your printed tickets.\nWeather:\nThe event is Rain or Shine- there will be buckets at each home to place umbrellas.\nParking:  \nFree Parking is available at the Pinnacle Health Parking lots located just North of the Shipoke Neighborhood and accessed by Paxton & 2nd Streets.  Use the crosswalk at S.
