SUMMARY:HYP Running Club
DESCRIPTION:The HYP Running Club is a friendly\, supportive community within Harrisburg Young Professionals for anyone interested in social running. Novice runners training for their first 5K and experienced marathoners alike are welcome and encouraged to join us on our casual group runs. Members interested in running races receive a discounted registration rate at many popular Harrisburg area events. The HYP Running Club meets on the first and third Saturday of the month for runs\, jogs\, and walks. \n\nGroup meets every first and third Saturday at 9:00 am on City Island in front of the Senators FNB stadium for a walk\, hike or run ranging from 1.5 – 3 miles – meetings subject to change per weather/season. DESCRIPTION:Join HYP for our 24 the Annual Forster Street Cleanup on Saturday\, April 20! \nIn 1998\, HYP planted the first trees in the Forster Street median and we are happy to continue the tradition of this amazing event to clean up litter and beautify an entrance to our city. Safety and cleanup gear will be provided\, and the cleanup will be followed by a block party! \nThis event is open to all community members; however\, registration is required. You can register to volunteer here. \nThe first 50 people to RSVP will receive a free event t-shirt.
