SUMMARY:Hawk Rock Hike
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun hike to the Hawk Rock overlook while meeting other HYP\nmembers. Hawk Rock is a 1.9 mile out and back hike to the overlook running\nthrough the Appalachian Trail. The hike is a moderately challenging hike with\nabout 750 ft of elevation gain. Once at the top\, you will be rewarded with a\nspectacular view of the Susquehanna River and the surrounding valleys. This\nhike will also be perfect to view the fall foliage at its peak.\nFeel free to bring some snacks/sandwich to eat while at the top and make sure\nto bring plenty of water. Dogs are also welcome. \nWe will be meeting at the parking lot at 11:00 am and will start by 11:10.\nContact Gabriella Lucas at gabriellalucas2011@gmail.com with any questions.\nYour RSVP through Cogran is strongly recommended so that you can be\ncontacted in the event of any changes or cancelations.
