Please join HYP’s City Beautification Committee for a tour of 4 Urban Community Gardens!

On an easy walk through Midtown to Olde Uptown and back, you will meet garden leaders and learn about different kinds of Urban Gardens in Harrisburg, how they work, and how you can get involved. After the tour, we will share lunch at the Millworks or Broad Street Market to discuss what you’ve learned and your ideas for how to help these projects succeed.  For questions please email beautification@hyp.org.

We will gather at 10 am at the parking lot at 3rd and Harris Streets*, and then visit these gardens managed by Green Urban Initiative(GUI) and Reforest Harrisburg Initiative (RHI).  (Please see map)  Total distance is under 2 miles.
