By any account, Mira Lloyd Dock and Gifford Pinchot were extraordinary people, stars in the Pennsylvania pantheon of environmental leaders.

To learn more about their life work and how their leadership and legacies can be useful today, you are invited to attend a free public program, Keeping the Faith: Sustaining the Legacies of Mira Lloyd Dock and Gifford Pinchot in the 21st Century.

The program will be held at The Civic Club of Harrisburg, 612 N. Front Street, on Sunday afternoon, April 3, 2016, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Two films produced by WITF, Inc., Mira Lloyd: A Beautiful Crusade and Gifford Pinchot’s Conservation Legacy will be presented, followed by a discussion on practical ways these lessons can help play a part in a sustainable future for Harrisburg and the Capital Region. The program will begin with light refreshments and time to speak with and pick up information from local program partner exhibitors.
