Come join us for an adventurous hike! We will hike a total of 4 miles, moderate level. The beginning of the hike will be a trek up the mountain for about .7 miles gaining 650 feet of elevation. Once on top of the mountain, there is a beautiful overlook to enjoy. From there we will hike on the Appalachian Trail on top of the mountain which will be a bit rocky but contains minimal elevation changes. This is an out and back hike.

Meet at the trailhead at 10 am. We will start the hike at 10:10 am. Text 717-585-3312 if you would like a pin of the exact meeting point as there is no street number for the parking lot/trailhead. There is a free parking lot next to the trailhead. If the lot is full, park on the nearby streets.

Dogs are welcome but must be friendly and leashed at all times.

Wear weather-appropriate clothing, hiking boots (recommended) and plenty of water/snacks. Bug spray and sunscreen are recommended.

Optional– If you would like to carpool, meet in front of the Benjamin Olewine III Nature Center at Wildwood Lake at 9:35 am. We will leave promptly at 9:40 am. This is located at the end of Wildwood Way Harrisburg, PA 17110.
