Sunday hike at Boyd Big Tree Nature Preserve, followed by a cookie swap!

We will combine a bunch of trails at Boyd’s to make a nice 3-4 mile loop. There is a small hill at the beginning of our planned hike, but don’t let this discourage you. We will be taking breaks along the way. The main attraction of this hike is the cookie exchange afterwards! The best part of Boyd’s is the very nice pavilion for us to lay out the spread of cookies, rain or shine!

Never participated in a cookie swap before?

Here’s how it works – Find a cookie recipe…be creative! Dust off those cookbooks, find family recipes, or make a batch of your all-time favorites to impress everyone! Bring these cookies with you in a tin or on a plate. Once at the pavilion, everyone will put their cookies out, and in a buffet-style, all participants will walk around and collect cookies to take home. Don’t forget – you’re taking home other’s cookies too!! So bring a container for yourself to collect a variety of goodies!!
