For our April meeting the HYP Book Club becomes unstuck in time as we follow the life of Billy Pilgrim from the Dresden firebombing during World War II to the far off planet of Tralfamador in Kurt Vonnegut’s “Slaughterhouse-Five”. Based on his own experience as a POW, Vonnegut crafted a science fiction infused anti-war novel that is equal parts tragic and hilarious. Selected by the Modern Library as one of the 100 best novels of all time, it remains as impactful now as the day it was written. Join us for our discussion.
We’ll be meeting at the East Shore Area Library in Meeting Room B.
