It’s Halloween season and the HYP Book Club is celebrating the best way we know how, with a book from the modern master of horror, Stephen King. 

When a writer returns to his home town of Jerusalem’s Lot in the hopes of finding inspirations for his next novel he is instead confronted with a string of mysterious deaths and residents slowly being infected by an ancient evil the likes of which he can scarcely imagine. With his second novel, “‘Salem’s Lot”, King transplants old concepts of the horror genre to small town America. Transforming the familiar into something terrifying.
