Join us for a fun hike to the Hawk Rock overlook while meeting other HYP
members. Hawk Rock is a 1.9 mile out and back hike to the overlook running
through the Appalachian Trail. The hike is a moderately challenging hike with
about 750 ft of elevation gain. Once at the top, you will be rewarded with a
spectacular view of the Susquehanna River and the surrounding valleys. This
hike will also be perfect to view the fall foliage at its peak.
Feel free to bring some snacks/sandwich to eat while at the top and make sure
to bring plenty of water. Dogs are also welcome.

We will be meeting at the parking lot at 11:00 am and will start by 11:10.
