Detweiler Park HIKE
| Come join us for the first hike of 2020! Detweiler Park is a biologically diverse park consisting of 400 acres. The trails wind through gardens, fields, meadows, evergreen plantations, and mature deciduous forests.
We will hike a loop of 4.5 miles. This will be an easy to moderate hike depending on fitness level. Easy terrain and minimal elevation gain. Meet at the trailhead at 10am. Text 717-585-3312 if you would like to be texted a pin of the exact meeting point. There is a free parking lot next to the trailhead. Dogs are welcome but must be friendly and leashed at all times. Wear weather-appropriate clothing, sneakers, or hiking boots and bring plenty of water/snacks. Bug spray and sunscreen are recommended.
Due to COVID-19, there will be no carpooling. Please bring a mask to wear at any point during the walk where social distancing would not be possible. Do not attend if you have any symptoms of COVID-19, been in contact with or live with someone who has or is being tested for COVID-19.
