The CEO Roundtable Series is a special program series which features leaders from the Harrisburg region who speak about their professional journey, lessons learned, struggles and successes, and provide insight to young professionals hoping to make their own career path a success. This CEO Roundtable will feature Alice Anne Schwab – Executive Director of the Susquehanna Art Museum at The Marty and Tom Philips Family Art Center.
Alice Anne Schwab, a Harrisburg native and graduate of Bucknell University, has worked in a variety of industries and currently serves as the Executive Director of the Susquehanna Art Museum and Tom Philips Family Art Center. She previously owned and operated Alice Anne’s Kitchen in Harrisburg, and served as Director of Education for the Harrisburg Symphony and Administrator for the Orchestra’s Youth Symphony. While living in New York City, she managed John Szoke Graphics, an art gallery and print publisher, and served as an assistant to Ian Schrager, a noted hotel developer, working on special events, including Andy Warhol’s memorial service, the publication party for Donald Trump’s The Art of the Deal, and Vanity Fair Magazine’s fifth anniversary celebration. In addition to her role at the museum, Alice currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Market Square Presbyterian Church, the Board of the Children’s Home Foundation, and was recently named to Penn State Harrisburg’s Board of Advisors, representing the Department of Humanities.
