The 46th edition of Historic Harrisburg Association’s iconic Candlelight House Tour will be presented on Sunday, December 8. Open for touring will be an intriguing array of private residences, architectural landmarks, and stunning contemporary living spaces. Once again, the tour properties will exhibit the broad array of urban lifestyle and living choices currently available to residents and potential residents of Harrisburg.
Advance tickets (the guide booklet) priced at $20 each are now available for purchase at the following East and West Shore locations:
- Highland Gardens, 428 28th Street, Camp Hill.
- Jeffrey’s Flowers, 5217 Simpson Ferry Road, Mechanicsburg.
- Midtown Scholar Bookstore, 1302 N. Third Street, Harrisburg.
- Stauffer’s of Kissel Hill, 5350 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg.
- Historic Harrisburg Resource Center, 1230 N. Third Street Harrisburg.
Day-of-tour Tickets will be $25 each and will be available beginning at 12 Noon at the Historic Harrisburg Resource Center and at the John Harris- Simon Cameron Mansion, 219, S. Front Street.
Tourgoers will see everything from three-story Colonial-revival mansions to Victorian and Queen Anne townhouses and twins, to modern loft apartments in the former Moose Lodge on Third Street in Midtown and the old Fox Hotel in South Harrisburg. Navigation will be easy, with convenient walking, driving and parking options.

Although the properties are numbered, we encourage people to visit them in random or reverse sequence and perhaps take a mid-afternoon break at one of the featured restaurants and hospitality partners listed in the booklet.
