The Outreach Committee is committed to transforming Harrisburg by developing and supporting initiatives in the areas of education, literacy, hunger relief, housing, healthcare and economic development. The Outreach Committee offers you an opportunity to demonstrate in a very tangible way your concern for our community. The Outreach Committee welcomes individuals to bring ideas for outreach opportunities. There are many ways that you can serve within this committee! We would love to help you find your service niche through HYP.

Outreach opportunities include working with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Rescue Mission, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region, Toys 4 Tots, Barak Inc, The Barnabas School, Caitlin’s Smiles, Dauphin County Library System, Dress for Success of South Central PA, Harrisburg Inner City Outings, The Joshua House, The  Nativity School , etc.

How can I get involved?
•    Attend an Outreach Committee Meeting. Meetings are held at 6:00 pm on the second Monday of every month at the Crowne Plaza Lounge.
